How do you quote?
Phone, WhatsApp, or use the form. We quote on what is moving and where. Larger jobs we may visit first to be sure. The figure we give you is the price you pay.
What is the minimum job size?
£300 is the floor. We do not take jobs below that figure.
Are you fully insured?
Yes. £10,000 goods in transit · £5m public liability as standard. Higher-value cover available for substantial contents — agreed before the move.
Do you charge for the quote?
No. Phone, WhatsApp, or form submissions are free. If we visit a site for a more complex quote, that is also free.
How far in advance should we book?
Two to three weeks for weekday moves. Four weeks for weekends. Six weeks for end-of-month dates which are the busiest times of the calendar.
What areas do you cover?
20 areas across Leicestershire — including Leicester city, the surrounding commuter villages, the major business parks, and the larger towns of Loughborough, Market Harborough, Melton Mowbray, Hinckley, and Coalville.
Do you do same-day moves?
Sometimes — depends on availability. Phone us with your dates and we will tell you straight away whether we can help.
Can you store goods between properties?
Yes — short-term storage is straightforward, typically a day to a few weeks during a chain move. Longer-term storage we can arrange but it is itemised separately.
Do you handle packing too?
Yes. Three options: full pack (we pack everything), partial pack (typically kitchen and bedrooms), or self-pack (we move what you have packed). Each priced separately.
What happens if our completion date moves?
It happens. More than 48 hours notice we rebook at no charge. Inside 48 hours there is a rebooking fee, but we work with you to find the next available date.
Can you move out of hours?
Yes — common for office relocations especially. Weekend and evening rates apply but the figure is fixed before the move.
Do you handle hazardous goods?
Standard industrial stock yes. ADR-classified hazardous materials require specialist carriers — we will tell you straight away if your move is outside what we can take on.
Are you VAT-registered?
Yes. Quotes are inclusive of VAT — no surprise tax line at the bottom of the invoice.
Can you provide a method statement / RAMS?
Yes — standard for any office or industrial move. We write it specifically for the job, share with your H&S team in advance, and carry copies on the day.
