Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date issued. Bookings are confirmed when you accept the quote in writing (email is fine). A non-refundable deposit may be required for moves over £1,500 — this is stated on the quote.
The price on the written quote is the price you pay, provided the scope of the move does not change. If on the day there are substantial additions (significant extra contents, undisclosed access issues), we will discuss any variation before continuing.
More than 48 hours notice: rebook at no charge or full refund. Inside 48 hours: rebooking fee may apply (typically £100 for home moves, more for office/industrial). Day-of cancellation: full charge applies.
£10,000 goods in transit · £5m public liability as standard. Items above this value need to be declared in advance for specific cover. We are not liable for items not declared, items packed by the customer that are damaged due to inadequate packing, or pre-existing damage we have noted on the inventory.
ADR-classified hazardous goods. Live animals. Cash, jewellery, or valuables — we recommend you transport these yourself. Items we believe are unsafe to move (we will explain).
Bank transfer or card payment on completion of the move. We will provide an invoice. We are VAT-registered and prices include VAT.
If you are unhappy with any aspect of the service, contact us at hello@removalservicesleicester.co.uk within 14 days of the move. We will respond within the working week. Most issues are resolved through conversation; for unresolved disputes, English law applies and English courts have jurisdiction.
